My feet hurt from dancing & socializing -- How awesome is that?!?!

Nov 26, 2005 02:42

I think I just ate some fuzz that was stuck to my lip gloss. *shrug* Meh.

OMG, tonight was supercalifragilistically fantastic! And so, looking back over the day in its entirety, (besides not really getting enough school work done... or much at all), it was actually quite AWESOME!

There's a few guys in Brock Pride who live just down the street from me and seem totally keen on hangin' 'round with me! Which rocks, 'cause they are fabuloso +10!
And there's this super cutie chickie-pie who's a bit younger than me (which is A-OK!) and kinda shy, and I think she's finally starting to loosen up. Like, we totally had convos and connections and whatnot. And I can make her laugh, and she can make me laugh, which is a pretty solid beginning for any relationship (even friendship)!
Oh, and I finally got to see Hedwig and the Angry Inch! Holy crap! What a-- let's just say, no kidding that one little inch is damn angry! I kinda want the soundtrack for that movie, I think. It's Rocky Horror reminiscient, but different (and I think better -- Please don't kill me!)... Anyway, yeah, it was good, and I recommend it to (almost) all!

I actually ran into him waiting for the bus from the mall, and we ended up hanging out for about two hours (at the library! *L*), talking. Made me feel a bit better. Sort of. And based on the quasi-objectives that came from the talk, actually, I think he'd be quite impressed! (Hah!)

I was in Isaac's (the on-campus pub/caf) a bunch today, and was surprised by the number of people around on Fridays. (Waaaaaay more than last year!) Managed to hand out quite a bit of my extra fudge (from Chantal's muchos shortened bake sale. So that made me happy -- though probs nearly not as happy as the receivers of said fudge! (Though it's certainly nice to be complimented/appreciated for doing a good job at something -- in this case, my first attempt at fudge!)

Ummm... Only bad part about today is that I seem to have misplaced the compact I keep my money in. Granted, there was only about $4 in it, but I liked the compact itself, too. And since I don't even freakin' wear cover up, etc. it's gonna be extra-hard finding a replacement! (Dammit!!!) So if any of you happen to finish a cover up or something, and have an extra empty compact lying around, please give it to me instead of throwing it out! (And tell your friends, too! Especially the ones who wear lots of make up!!!)

For all you St. Catharines peeps, there's a gaming event at the Come & Play cafe Sat. night at... 6??? Honestly though, I suspect I won't be there. One, I only just found out about it today. Two, I don't think I can set aside the amount of time required to make it worth the money I'd have to pay (about $12), considering the amount of freakin' school work I've gotta do! As it is, I'm taking a ton of it with me to work tomorrow! (I work 6 a.m. till 3 p.m.) I'm hoping it's gonna be slow (and if the weather continues like this, it probs will be!)...

I've just realized that there's no way I've got enough time to soak my contacts for the min 4 hours. So maybs I should just leave 'em in for the few hours of sleep I'm gonna try to nab??? *thinking* Mmm, yeah, sounds good.

Okay, I'm gonna go try to call the cab company again. (I tried when I first got home, but it kept doing some weird busy-signal-pseudo-hang-up thing. *shrug*) Order my cab for the morning.
Then do some relaxation stuff (like finish undressing, etc.) and try to fit in a quick visit to Sleepington Town before I gotta head to work. (Thank the gods we carry so many caffeinated products at work! *lol*)

Okay, ta everybody! Hope you're all feeling as optmistic as I am! *blowing kisses in random directions* Dream sweet dreams my lovies!

*S
