Just in case you haven't heard, I am going back to that blessed land that is the South this week. On Friday the 16th I am arriving in Atlanta at 6:30 more or less. I have plans already for Friday, Saturday, and, of course, Sunday, but after that, I may be available to do some hanging out. It'll be good to see everyone again. There is just one problem (that dawned on me two days ago). I won't have a car! I will probably be able to drive my dad's car later in the week when he goes out of town for a few days, but until then, if you want to do something with me, you will have to give me a ride.
(Dang, I make it sound like I am actually important and think that people would actually want to use up the gasoline and hang out with me!)
Anyway, I hope to see some of you in my 3 week stay in Georgia in shaa' allah.
Yesterday was pretty cool. After work, I went to pick up Camila and take her over here to the FLSR. First, however, we stopped at the grocery store to do a little shopping. We bought this big bag of Christmas Cheetos that supposedly turn your tongue green! Weird, no? There is a church activity at 7:30 tonight, but afterwards I am going to her house. I think we are gonna watch Princess Bride or some Brasilian movie. Either way, we will have green tongues and Cheeto breath. She also has a bottle of guarana that we shall imbibe. I tell you, I have become quite the guarana bibber here in Utah.
Once again I hung out at Camila's house. I took Camila here to the FLSR to have hot chocolate with a bunch of people after their trip to Salt Lake. We did that, and then I took Camila and Lili to the former's house. A bunch of her relatives had just arrived from Brasil, so I got to make a fool out of myself in Portuguese, but it was okay. I understand practically all of what they were saying, and I actually was able to listen to and understand completely this story her mom was telling us for about an hour. It was really cool. After that, I took Lili back here to the FLSR. We got home around 2:30 AM I believe. Once again, I didnt get much sleep last night. I had church this morning, but before that, I had a couple roommates of mine wake me up as they left for Salt Lake for the morning. You would think that I would just stay home and sleep, right? Wrong! I am actually going to Camila's house to pick her up right now and go to the activity and then hang at her place the rest of the evening, most likely.
