(no subject)
well people, it looks as though winter is on its way out... I know I'll be
eating my words when its 20 degrees on my birthday (which by the way is May
14!)... freakin' Georgia weather.
I have not been updating as much, not out of lack of events, but I guess
motivation. I have been doing pretty good, feeling the highs and the lows
that my moods put me in... but overall I believe I'm in a good place in my
life, I think I'm finally starting to mature (except for the mom jokes,
those will never get old), overcome my insecurities, and realizing that what
I want is not always what is best for me in the long run... Not that I just
woke up one morning with all the knowledge and wisdom in the world... it's a
slow process that I continue to struggle with.
I think part of my "epiphany" comes from the fact that a lot of my old
friends and acquaintances aren't traveling down the right path, and in
different circumstances (if it wasn't for a few.. well a lot of smart
choices) I would be in bad shape too. I think my most important trait, and
the one that keeps me going even in bad times, is my love for life.
Sorry to get all poetic and romantic and stuff...
School is going good, and I'm still working out... it's kinda frustrating when you really can't see results, although I feel healthier, there is still no muscle gain... oh well, I'll make it
Anyway, Spring Break 2004 is upon us, and I can honestly say it's looking to
be the most rocking-craziest-hang-out-with-my-wang-out breaks of my life...
We're embarking on a road trip to Panama City Beach, no word on wether we
will make a pit stop on road GA311, but if we do, you can bet my wall will
be looking a lot better when we get back :) . Once in FL, I guess we'll
just wing it.. I'm sure there won't be a lack of things to do or bottles to
open or kegs to tap... then thursday we head up to New Orleans for what I'm
sure will be my most memorable concert experience yet... 311 DAY! a 3 hour
11 minute (maybe longer) show by my favorite band since the 7th grade. Then
back to PC to finish up the partying... Did I mention some of the coolest
people I know are going with me? ja.....
