Excellent.

99.9% of the people who sweartagawd they've always loved Lemmy never knew who the fuck Lemmy was pre-Airheads. Usually I don't go in for that kind of snobbery, that "oh I liked 'em before you did," but seriously, it's got to be the equivalent of being goth pre- and post-Manson or something.

By the way, the promo music for the trailer is the immortal "Doctor Rock."

That's a song that's near and dear to my philosophical heart. I mean, where the fuck do you think my friends got that nickname?

Jawsome! I missed the Motorhead reference. Honestly, I always figured it came from your PhD program and , well the rock. Then again, there's long been a bent towards higher learning in rock. Paging Doctor Jeep, Doctor Love, and Doctor Feelgood.

Putting it in that context, I can definitely appreciate it. I never knew that Airheads was the watershed moment, until someone from the site where I found the piece about the docu posted the scene from Airheads.

I don't know if Airheads was the single defining moment, but I do know that by the late 90s there were a shitload more Motorhead fans than there were in the late 80s.

Also, sometime I should tell you my story about how I "acquired" my first Motorhead album.
