There are many reasons why I hate the hoidays...
I heard this guy (I think he is the mayor or city council men or something) on the news last night in Escondido, Ca talking about this controversy of the parade up there and how a whole lot of people in Escondido are upset because he made the name of it the Christmas parade. His argument is that people should not be upset by this because Christmas is an "American" holiday. I don't know about you but the last I check Christmas was a Christian Holiday, not American. It is celebrated by all Christians around the world. Hell it wasn't even started in America, unless we have been here for almost a thousand years and didn't know it. It was started long before America was over populated by the Europeans, because of Christopher Columbus. Yes that is correct the earliest English reference to December 25th as Christmas Day did not come until 1043.
Anyways there is more to it but ya... I was just thinking of that today.
