Thanksgiving!

Hey, it's that Holiday time that I am missing...

It's weird to know that every other person in this city has no Clue that our little group of americans is making a feast worthy of kings and Queens.

There are 31 kids on the program and each of us signed up for a dish. We have to make enough so all of us can have some.... This could get interesting. I chose something easy, although with the lack of access to american foods turned out a little harder...
See Broccoli is a very boring food if you just steam it and serve it with a little butter or so on, so i remember my aunt making this amazing broccoli mushroom casserole thing and used "the google" to look it up. It exists!
Now all I have to do is convert to metric and multiply for 35 people...
Sad thing is, germany isn't big on the whole canned soup thing.... So finding Condensed mushroom soup has consisted upon me drawing on those genius skills anf figuring out how to make package, dried mushroom soup into creamy deliciousness. Enter whole milk and something amazing they call Creme Fraiche ( I still don't know what the substance is, but it is thick and creamy) and suddenly I have cooked a beatiful steaming pot of condensed mushroom soup.

Tonight will be me cutting up 7 or 8 heads of broccoli and reminding myself of the fantastic meal to come!
Hope Everyone else's Thanksgiving is fun-filled whether or not family is involved (you ever notice the word "family" makes a lot of people world wide cringe?)
And when you get bored start thinking of

QUESTION OF THE WEEK!

What's your Favorite Band that starts with "C"?
