Little Miss Isabel
So work shut down today. Mind you, outside my apartment there is almost no wind and certainly no rain. Of course, I'm already hearing speculation that work may be closed tomorrow too. While I don't mind a 4-day weekend, I do mind having to push IOC (that's Inital Operating Capability) from Friday to Monday or Tuesday. We still have so much work to do. And I still have to write my performance evaluation for my new office. I just finished one for my old office. I DON'T HAVE TIME FOR THIS!!!
And I need a new keyboard. The spacebar and the delete key don't like to work.
Anyway, I should be straightening up my apartment, cleaning and stuff, while I still have power, but I'm not. I'm sitting here, updating my LJ.
I guess I'll go make lunch and ride out this "weather event."
Oh, and here's to hoping Byrd Stadium dries out in time for Saturday's game. What's up with the lack of television coverage?!
