I'm looking ahead at all the things I have to do in the next week and find myself hyperventilating. That would be the panic part. Two mid-terms, three homeworks, one final, numerous meetings and phone calls. I also have not completed the homeworks due Monday and Tuesday, nor looked at the case homework due on Thursday.
The jubilation part doesn't quite balance out the panic, but it will likely have more prominence as the week goes on (and the to-do list gets shorter). Hubby was in town on Friday for a (5 hour!) interview, which is 99.9% likely to produce an offer. I, personally, have received several internship offers - and gotten some more pings of interest. Here I was thinking I was unemployable! And we had a fun visit and a lovely day with a good friend who flew in for the weekend.
I also wanted to wish
pratzstrike a belated Happy Birthday! I meant to post on the 27th and things just went sideways, as always.
Many many thanks to
ladycoldfire for the balloons! They're so cheery! I miss you too, very much. Hopefully I can swing by your neck of the woods for a weekend this summer - once I figure out just where I'll be.
Hubby also brought gifts with him - so I am anxiously waiting for spring break so I can watch the 1st season of Locked and Loaded with R. Lee Ermey, and the first three seasons of No Reservations with Anthony Bourdain. I'm already ripping and listening to the new Fear Factory and Rob Zombie CDs. Bliss!
Back to the grind.
