Where'd the weekend go..?
I had grand plans this weekend. I was going to study, do homework, get ahead of things, since this week is just jam-packed every evening.
I did homework in the afternoon. I got an invitation to an event, and Friday night was gone.
I had to attend another event on Saturday, and entertain a neice/friend's kid. Gone. Oh yeah, and the other event was still going on.
I was lazy in the morning, and spent time setting up my Kindle. I had a third event Sunday afternoon. I got some homework done around dinner. The other event was still going on.
It's now almost 2:30am (Central) and the homework's half done. Next week is looming. The Kindle is shiny. The event has been nifty. There's another event tonight. I'm hosting one on Tuesday. I have to attend one on Wednesday. I host a show on Thursday. Friday is the soccer tournament kick-off and I'm hosting one of the out-of-town teams (pun not intended!). Saturday-day is gone to soccer. Saturday-night is gone to an event. Sunday morning is gone to soccer. Sunday afternoon looks free.
