Poland's dogged, almost superhuman perseverance is once of the things I've always found most fascinating about him. I mean, yeah, most nations have had to push through events that would have killed an average person a thousand times over, but Poland's history is simply rife with them. I feel like it's really easy to write him off as a character just because he's so over the top, but you always treat him with so much respect, and I really admire that. I love that your fondness for him always shines through.
Also, France. There has never been a moment, for as long as I've known him (that sounds weird, but you know what I'm trying to say), that he hasn't made me simultaneously swoon and flutter and think. That sound you hear is his "I'm sorry" swordpoint exchange with Russia being deposited securely into my headcanon.

I'm always a little bit embarrassed when people say things like that--I mean, I do try to treat all the nations impartially! But...Poland. I love Poland. I can't help how much I love Poland! Because he is Poland, and I pretty much find that great in every possible way.

Oh God, because by that point, the Grand Army's retreat was in complete shambles. France and Russia must have had at least one or two run-ins before France limped across the border to Poland.

Dude, if you really, really like a character, it's gonna show. 'S not a crime. XD And besides, it's not like you totally dump on other nations in favor of the guy. You just happen to think he's rad as hell.

I keep begging Linden to write about them at this time, but she's always washing her hair. ._. Or, you know, "having an exceptionally busy real life"--or whatever.
