Ffff, I am not under the impression that I emit a magical fairy dust which compels everyone around me to think well of me. It is cool that I have, in the eyes of some, committed errors. Plus, I was being a jackass with the anti-US/UK tomfoolery. It is a thing to which an end has been put.
As for the trashing, it was just somewhere, I didn't keep the link or anything.
1/2 cup light brown sugar 1/2 cup +2 tablespoons dark brown sugar 1/2 cup all-purpose flour 1 cup chopped pecans 2/3rds cup unsalted butter, softened 2 eggs 1 tablespoon dark karo syrup 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract.
Preheat oven to 350 F (175 C). Mix together flour and sugar, then set aside.
Mix together the butter and eggs, then add the karo syrup and vanilla and beat until creamy. Add the flour and sugar mixture slowly, beating on low speed, until just combined. Mix in pecans last.
Spoon into prepared muffin tin (greased and floured, or with cups). The batter should fill the tray to the 2/3rds point.
Bake for 20-25 minutes, or until tops spring back when pressed. =D
