Mothers' Day
I have to share my Mothers' Day present from Della. She brought it home from school on Tuesday and couldn't wait to give it to me, so I got it on Tuesday night.
She's drawn it so carefully - note that even the colour she's used on the car matches our car perfectly. I'm so impressed by my little Preppie: I think her drawings are so amazing for a 5 year old (almost 6 year old).
It has a clip on the back, so is a brooch. It was made in Art class, and the Art teacher has lacquered the front so that it will hopefully last. I'm writing the date on the back so I'll be able to remember in 30 years when it was made for me.
It's about 6cm across, just so you can have a rough idea of the scale.
