I've been catching up on posting photos to Flickr (a whole lot more pics are in my sewing folder if you're interested), and so thought I might do a photo update here too...
I posted photos of Della starting school: Ember started 4yo kinder on the same day, and I took big girl photos of her too!
Ready to go:
First things first: lunch!
I promised... daharja?... that I'd post photos of the bunk we bought for the girls in January. It's extremely funky and the kids love it. It's also rather large, but that means sturdy too - and hopefully means they'll still be using it for lots of years.
This is the end of the bunk which you can't see in the photo above - the splash mirror is so cool (but reasonably unaccessible in their small room), and the zigzag bookshelf is great for Della to store her things in. We've also put up a hanging compartment thing (from Ikea) in the corner near the head end for them to put things in.
