I'm falling apart!

I swear it, I feel like I am.

My left hip has been sore for quite a while now, particularly when I stand up from sitting, and after doing lots of exercise. It got better while I was resting after the gall bladder surgery, because I wasn't doing much activity. Since school has started I've done a LOT of walking - to and from school, and other walking. The round trip to school is about a km, I'm guessing.

So after this morning's one km easy walk I'm hobbling around and in pain. *sigh* if it's not one thing, then it's another. I really do feel like as I've hit 30, I'm over the hill and falling apart. My Dad had his left hip replaced at age 65, so there's possibly a genetic weakness or susceptibility or something.

I have two doctor appointments on Monday: one post-surgery checkup in Dandenong with a doctor I've never met (yay for the public system! I don't know why I couldn't see my initial surgeon whose rooms are 10 mins walk away from home.), and then a GP visit to check out this damn hip.

health, hip
