Quick update...
...because I've had lots of PMs and emails.
Everything is fine.
The earthquake was scary and seemed to go on forever, but other than hearing a few broken windows, the part of Tokyo I was in escaped unharmed.
It did, however, cancel all of the trains so I had to wait for a taxi to get back to my hotel and have only just made it, at 4:30AM. Due to the havoc and most stores shutting, my food tally for the day is just one sakura scone from Starbucks. I'll be eating my pillow in the morning!
My Maiden gig tomorrow (tonight) is cancelled which I'm absolutely gutted about but really, I don't have anything to complain about compared to what's happening in the north of Japan. I've only just had chance to see the photos and it's terrible - I feel like I shouldn't be moaning about anything at all.
I'll probably write more about it tomorrow (today) as I have nothing else planned now that Maiden is cancelled :-/
(On a slightly fangirlish note - OMG I WENT TO THE SQUARE ENIX STORE AND IT IS FANGIRL HEAVEN. I TOOK SNEAKY PHOTOS OF MY TWO FAVOURITE PARTS AND WILL ALSO SHARE THOSE LATER ^_^)
