I went with Dan to the Royal Ontario Museum this evening. It was as boring as it was last time I was there, only with less stuff on display.

I was listening to a short piece about bats in french, looking very interested, and a little boy came up and quickly hit the english button! I was very mad at him, so I made a hand gesture and shouted "Libre Québec!" at him. His parents were terrified but the younger couple behind me seemed amused.

Our pillow fight coincides with an anti-gun rally! We do not know what we are going to do about this scheduling conflict. We may move everybody, or we may just have the pillow fight in front of them. If hardly any people come, it will be much easier to take over the square.

I don't know what to get my mom for her birthday. Last year I helped give her a trip to Paris, so this year I would like to do something fantastic. For mother's day we pasted up all these "I Love You Mom" paper hearts, but since we have already done that, I need something else.

A few things came to mind, including hanging lots and lots of windchimes in my woods. Also, a giant balloon arch in the driveway. She really wants a grandfather clock ($5,000+) so I thought I could project one on the wall in our foyer. She said she wants something to brush the mud off her shoes when she comes in from gardening, but you can't really garden in December.

PS - The new trendy abbreviation for Northern Virginia is NoVA.
