(no subject)
Okay, so I don't know if I mentioned this, but I am actually going to Santa Fe. Plus side: I will have a car (minivan) this semester.
Also, today was the first leg of my trip out there. And despite my prior plan of stopping through Shippensburg to say hello to a friend then moving on to someplace in eastern or middle Kentucky, I am now at a hotel room in Shippensburg, because my friend was feeling a lot better than expected :-) So instead of an 8-9 hour drive today and a 5-6 hour drive tomorrow, I had a 3 hour drive today and will have an 11 hour drive tomorrow.
Oh, and if anyone reading this lives in Dallas, it would be nice if you had a couch I could crash on for Friday night, because the fewer hotel bills, the better :-P
Also, Beckie! I might need to crash on a couch or something (if you can still take me) because I do not currently have housing for CSF, and may not be able to get it before next Tuesday :-(
