So. Harry Potter and the Order of the Pheonix. Not as good as I hoped or even as I expected for most of the movie. It definitely had its moments, and the battle at the end kind of redeemed it, but they were definitely trying to shove too much information into too short of a movie. It's a very busy book, and the movie doesn't quite keep up. It doesn't help that many of the scenes seem somewhat dragged-out by very long cuts, or that there are very noticeable silences in many places. These just make it seem like there should have been more to the scenes than what actually happened in them. I definitely would not pay $10 to see it again, and though I will probably buy it right when it comes out, it's currently ranking as my least favorite of the series (movie-wise).
