I think it's pretty horrible how I've been playing guitar since the age of 14, and I haven't ever been in a REAL band. That needs to change. I feel like I could do great things. Write great songs. Play them for people that might want to hear them. OR, play them for people who are there to see someone who's playing after me, but they came early just in case the opening band had some good tunes prepared. Yeah. That's what I want to happen.

The music is better, but I feel like me at age 17 or 18 would kick my current self's ass for listening to half the shit that I do. At least my favorite band hasn't changed I guess. A lot of punk rock just makes me laugh nowadays.
I hear that Skiba is getting divorced though. Maybe they'll return to roots? We can only dream.
