Yep, Ata has returned to the bar, only this time, she's not alone. There's a movie Jazz in his car form following her in.
"Here's the place, Jazz. The place's neutral ground, so there won't be any problems." She hopes.

She knows a few Transformers might turn up to either bug them or simply to talk.

Jazz shifts, then winces and pauses in a crouch till his hip unlocks and lets him straighten. His voice is just a little strained as he says, "Sweet."

Ata offers him a hand. "Had a feeling you might like it."

[slag_megs]

He shakes his head. "Just... gimme a minute."

[tf_atalanta]

"Sure." She'll let him get a chance to get ready to move.

[slag_megs]

The joint finally unlocks, and he stands shakily and looks around, instinctively checking out everything he can see. "Where ya wanna sit?"

She finds a spot not too out of the way. "How about here?"

[slag_megs]

"Looks good." He grins up at her, waiting for her to lead the way, one hand upraised a bit as though to guide her.

Which she does, smiling a bit, and before she sits, she checks to see if he's followed okay before she settles in a chair.

Jazz is used to being short, and he's mastered the art of hopping up gracefully into seats made for taller Bots.

But you can't hop gracefully with a banged up hip, as he finds out the hard and painful way.

"Okay... that didn' work," he says gruffly, leaning against the chair.

Well, looks like she's got up and will help him up... that looked pretty painful. "Hey, let me help."

His automatic response is to look around quickly and see who's looking, but then he nods a little resignedly. "Thanks, Ata. I keep forgettin' I jammed that hip."

[tf_atalanta]

Good job there isn't too many Transformers about right now.
"Well, you're supposed to take it easy on that hip," she says, sitting down in her chair.

He sighs and rubs his face, then looks around for the waitstaff.

[tf_atalanta]

They don't take long at all to get to them. This particular worker happens to be a hovering drone holding a tray. "What do ya need?" The 'bot asks.

"Something strong," Ata replies.

[slag_megs]

"What she said." He gives the drone an absent, tired smile.

[tf_atalanta]

"Coming up," the Drone says, and heads off to get the drinks.

"Hey, you okay there?" Ata asks Jazz.
