[Zuko doesn't know where he got all these felt-tip markers, post-it notes, and stickers when he wakes up that morning, and he's not really sure what he's meant to do with them. [Tea is good. Tea reminds her of Giles and it's calming...or something. In any case, Buffy ends up in the tea shop--the one that has a label that says 'Zuko's Tea Shop'. That makes her double but eh she doesn't really care who's tea shop it is. She just wants tea.]

[Buffy is reasonably content to wait if fidgety. She has her network device out, fitzing with it and a stake on the table that she keeps rolling back and forth with the palm of her hand. Sitting still and patience? Not Buffy's strong point]

[Five minutes later and he returns with the tray, eyes catching the way she's rolling the stake on the table. He says nothing about it and sets the tray down to set up her cup for her tea.]

A tiny picket for a tiny fence? [Her voice is pitched a little high and clearly a question rather than an answer. There's a sigh and a bit of gratitude because here in the City she doesn't necessarily have to lie, even if it is her first instinct]
