In other words, you're afraid of the normal? Why?
And what happened that you and your dad had to run away?

Parents participated in an experiment when they were in college, were told that what they saw and experienced was hallucinations... that they just thought they could read minds and whatnot... The chemical compound, Lot Six, awakened certain abilities in them. She was telekinetic, he could control minds to a certain degree... They were basically tagged by the government, and set free ( ... )

Wow. That's ... impressive.

Pyrokinesis. That's starting fires with one's mind, right? That really exists?
It must have been cool! Apart from the other things, or course.

Losing your parents must have been real hard. I know. My mum's dead too and my dad is not who I thought he is. But I have a home now and I had one before everything. So gues I lucky after all.

I hope this Shop people won't find you ever and that you can live a happy live.

Yup. The only nt cool thing about it was sometimes, like when I got really upset or had a nightmare, it got out of control.

That's hard, losing your mum and pretty much your dad to... Who is he if not who you thought he was?

I hope so too... Thanks.

It getting out of control must have been bad. Hope you didn't set too many or too big things on fire accidentally.

Dad's just ... well, not my dad. He, Ian, is ... my stepdad. My real dad is Duncan. I now live with him since Ian's in Canada. I only found out about this a few month after mum was dead. It was really confusing at first. But I'm pretty much used to it now.

It's not really.
And this way I have a new family now.
Else I would had have to go with Ian, who's in Canada with some new wife.
Or worse, got stick with my grandmother.
