Beantown Update II
Yea, so I have no desire to sleep right now. There is more chance of me sleeping than being procutive. I figured this is as good a time as any to tell you silly fucks back in PA about what is going on up here. Yes, up here in frigid fucking New England. Just a warning(if you didn't realize this already, you probably aren't my friend). This entry will certainly be jumpy and make very little sense.
So where do I begin. Classes still suck. I got a 8 page paper due Monday which I havn't started. Hey, at least I have 4 books to write it with. Lot's of work. None of it very interesting. No, I don't feel like I'm expanding my mind or growing. To be honest I feel kinda stagnant on that front. Sadly, I think that's the real reason I came here. Hopefully next semester will be better.
I saw the Incredibles saturday. Holy Shit! Seriously folks, I know we expect amazing things from Pixar, but this is was...well...Incredible. (please shoot me for the obvious and horrible pun) We all grew up with super heros and this film is all about them. Is it just me or is there a little pecemistic attitude about people in this film? Maybe I liked it so much cause it had a certain negativity to it. The animation is once again ming blowing. I'll never get tired of seeing an ocean of water animated with computers. I could stare at it for hours. The night I saw this flick was also the same nite I walked home 45 mins in 26 degree weather, 14mph winds(Boston is on the ocean) , with it feeling like 16 degrees outside. I have no gloves, and the ground was still covered in snow from the night before. I alternated one hand pressed on my stomach and one holding my cell phone as I spoke to Nicholl to help keep me distracted from the cold.
Well I'm tired of this so here is a list of things that have happened recentley in no perticular order:
fell in love with two black men 81 and 5
crawled around on my hands and knees freaking out about 5
went out with Drew for his 21st B-day, hadn't eaten in 10 hours when I drank a shot and 2 beers in 20 mins
held my head (yes that one) with my hand trying to get back to my house that nite without pissing myself....i made it, barley
got the top score at work in Snood puzzle
met the neice of James Brown the host of Fox NFL pregame show
got hit on a lot by the neice of James Brown, host of Fox NFL pregame show
had my head fucked with by one perticular girl
went back for more head fucking with
bought the new APC DVD...gotta love the vid for "Counting Bodies Like Sheep..."
got the new APC Cd and realized Vacant, the Tapeworm song APC played on their first tour has now been recorded and renamed Passive
went to Pittsburgh for the worst game ever
decided Pittsburgh is a shitty hick town
got confirmation from a native of Pittsburgh that there are too many hicks there
bought Halo 2...worked very hard at not giving up the rest of my life
got Xbox live set up again
played the greatest 2K5 game of all time vs a dude from Carolina...he was the Panthers
Got schooled on numerous occasions online playing Halo 2
went back for more head fucking with
creamed my pants weilding a plasma pistol and a machine gun at the same time
creamed my pants using the plasma sword
creamed my pants alone in my room
freaked out about needing to get to a concert
skipped out on a Velvet Revolver concert I had paid 50 bucks for cause i was that tired
freaked out some more about needing to get to a concert
watched porn with 2 girls who had never watched porn before
actually bought someone alien 3 as a gift without it being a prank
went back for more head fucking with
had dinner and a lot of wine once a week with Joe and 4 girls
had a wine glass broken next to my bed
had glass in my foot
worked very hard at not giving up the rest of my life for the Cortana
taken out the trash...maybe 3 times
watched a lot of adult swim
hated Tom Goes to the Mayor and Super Milk Chan
Began to appreciate the Venture Brothers more than ever
bought a crap load of books i may never have the time to read
drank more coffee than I can remember drinking in years
cried about the NHL season
got tired of this list
