Slipknot live, Rammstein, & Mindless Self Indulgence
Friday, i saw slipknot live, it was fucking awesome. the drummer was on a pnuematic stage, and it went up and side ways, while sideways it spun. Corey (#8, or the lead singer) stood up after the first song and said "Hey, this is the first show, there may be some fuck ups, and shit, but ohwell, suck it". They, after that, played spit it out, which is when everyone gets on there knees, in jumps up and moshes. I got punch in the face, and one guy left with a bloody arm. best fucking concert EVER
I got a chance to listen to rammsteins newest cd, Reise, Reise, or Arise, Arise in english. If you dont know who rammstein is, they are a german metal/alt band, that have a decent sound to them. The track Amerika stands out, it is about how america controls media and, many other things, around the world. Tey are very political, and i have heard they put on a great live show. anyway the cd i would rate a 7 out of 10...it was pretty good, but not the best.
I have been listening to Mindless Self-Indulgence latley, The lead singer is black, asian, bi-sexual. He talks about how he hates pop culture currently, how he was called faggot as a kid and how he has a ungerground following. Quite a good band.
I heard the funniest shit the otherday. It is Take a bite outta rhyme, a cd where rock and metal acts cover famous rap songs. i almost died laughing at it.
Anyway, i put my reserve down on a psp today, sonys new portable playstation. I am getting it only for Gran Tourismo, and GTA. I like cars, and shit exploding.
