sooo much work today, i am going crazy. i needed to take a sanity break.
um so tomorrow my mom and i are driving to kentucky. yea, that should be LOTS of fun.. NOT.
today is julias birthday, she's 20! and now older then me for one month lol she says its okay she is still dating a TEENAGER.. hah also, casey is home tonight! hopefully ill get to c her.. and im just missing sam in KT/TN unfortunatly..
but i finally managed to get the twilight book online. so far it's okay.. since i had a 40% off coupon thing for borders.com i also got a cancun tour guide book and the new nickelback cd (i wouild definitly recommend, it's really good) and some other stuff because i can't just buy one thing.
my family now wants to have thanksgiving dinner at the country club and then celebrate real thanksgiving on friday since a bunch of my extended family is coming to kentucky from south carolina, ohio, etc the day after thanksgiving. how fucking lame is that?! i am so pissed. thanksgiving at a country club? ugh. i feel bad for the people that have to work on thanksgiving and no country club food could be better then family food. AND my grandma wont be there because she is going to new jersey to spend tgiving with my aunt. double lame, my grandma is the best cook and without her thanksgiving is not thanksgiving.
in other news i took julia out to this really awesome restaurant called half moon in dobbs ferry friday night for her birthday dinner (just us celebration). it was soo nice, and for anyone who remembers the chart house the chart house is now half moon and they improved upon it SO MUCH. the view right on the hudson river is incredible and the food was fantastic, although i ordered prawns forgetting that prawns are just big shrimp (i was thinking of scallops) + i dont like thinks with eyes on them. they were still good though. loved the fireplace too.
sunday julia, matt, and i helped my mom with operation christmas child at church. it was really cute. also saw the charlie bartlett movie. was pretty hysterical actually.
now back to the hell that is work. lol its not THAT bad its just crazy right now because of the holiday and month end coming up soon. and this frigin CRAZY woman keeps IMing me (we have this AIM like program at IBM called sametime) and it is so annoying, i even put my away message on and she is still doing it and its over something dumb.
anyways back to work.. im pissed im going to miss seeing everyone thats home!
