Ahhh....
Well, I must say that geology is the best thing in the world. Here I am, barely a junior in college, and I am doing my own research. I have my own research room, I have to come in every day and get some things done or else get in trouble with the research. I am getting paid for my research, and I am taking lunch breaks and hangin with the professors and graduates. It is a total dream come true.
In other news, I think Emmers doesn't have an account on livejournal anymore, adn that is sad and disheartening. Right now I don't miss Bay City at all. I miss having a home here, and I miss the people from home, but doing what I've wanted to all my life makes it hard for me to miss Michigan too much. And I thought I would be bored here when I wasn't working, but Chris and Sarah Rodie have let me hang out with and live with them and they and their housemates are a barrel of laughs.
Of course I would rather be in BC because it is all fun all the time, but it is really hard to miss when I'm doing all of this. It really is my dream job. As frustrating, painstaking, and hard as it is, there are few things I would rather be doing.
