Real Update

I do not like the cold. Today I checked weather.com and the temperature was "0, Feels Like -14". That's just not cool. I'm sick of turning into a mansicle every time I go to class. The headphone cord for my iPod becomes stiff and it's kinda weird.

Anywho, if I can offer you people one bit of advice, it would be do not, under any circumstances, buy a guitar from Thailand. The woods they use there are used to such a high level of humidity that once the guitar gets here it wilts like a dead flower. Sooo I'm now in the market for a new acoustic guitar pending a refund from Thailand. I'm going to get a Breedlove AC25/SM for those of you who care. I've really been praying that this all works out in my favor. I'm gonna be out some money either way, but oh well. Lesson learned.

The Metal Gear series is one of the best video game series ever if not THE best video game series ever. The graphics and sound are amazing, the action is intense, and the plot lines rival most major motion pictures. I finished MGS3: Snake Eater last night and was blown away by its awesomeness. I now intend to go back and replay MGS and MGS2, because it will bring me joy.

This weekend and over Christmas break I'll be in the studio recording constantly. The record is going to change the world and you should buy it when it's done. I promise you'll like it.

Speaking of Christmas, doesn't it rock harder than any other holiday? Everything's happier. Granted, everything's a little colder, too, but I think that's a small price to pay for that unexplainable joy that the birth of a Savior can bring. Our Campus Crusade meeting this week is Christmas themed and we'll be playing lots of Christmas songs, which I don't think people really give their due. They're old, but goodness gracious did people back then get it! They wrote the most beautiful and true lyrics:

Hark! The herald Angels sing! Glory to the newborn King!

Peace on earth, and mercy mild! God and sinners reconciled!

People don't talk like that anymore. Sometimes I think I was born in the wrong half of the century. How cool would it be to have lived in the 1920's? Back when all men wore suits everyday and spoke in a proper way and read the paper by the fireside while listening to the radio. Everything was just classier back then. Plus their was jazz...mmm...jazz. I'd go back in time and live their provided I could bring my computer with me.

I think that's all for now. How are you?
