I ran into an old friend from high school today at Caribou. We were in orchestra together for three years and had a blast every day in class. I have her senior pic on my wall and have tried facebooking her to track her down but hadn't had any luck. And yet, there she was. I went up to her to start a conversation, expecting a warm embrace and the typical excited "HOW HAVE YOU BEEN" conversation.
She had absolutely no idea who I was.
Sad.
