Unexpected trip down memory lane
I picked up the new Clash of the Titans in a 3 for $20 used DVD sale at BlockBuster yesterday and decided to watch it while I puttered around the house. The movie pretty much sucked but it brought back a ton of memories from when I used to play and eventually code and game master for an online game called Alliance of Heroes. It was originally based on the TV shows Hercules: The Legendary Journeys and Xena: Warrior Princess until the license expired. It was always heavy on Greek Mythology and the movie dredged up a lot of game memories for me. I put in a lot of time there...and surprisingly, its still around, although a shell of it glorious self after WoW sucked most of her players away.
