I think I may get back to writing in LiveJournal.
I am growing increasingly cautious about writing anything on Facebook. It's not like I ever shared anything really inappropriate on there before (that I can think of), but it's just so incredibly public now, with practically everyone I know on there, that I don't want to be making any "update" comments about anything personal.
So I had my first non-training shift at work today. It was a big deal. I have a whole lot I could share about that (if I had the energy but it's late and I'm tired). However, I don't think I want to write even a brief comment about my day on Facebook, because people from work could see it, as could future employers, etc.
The whole online social networking is still weird to me, not because it's new to me of course, but because it has changed and grown so much, and because of the way people are using it. I think in 10-20 years people will behave a lot differently on the internet.
