1:30 in the morning...
Well as you know I was all excited about my date with Patrick last night and you know what...it didn't happen. It was kind of both our faults.
He met me at the theater and just as he was walking up he looked at me and said, "umm...my buddy just called me and I forgot that I promised I'd go work out with him tonight." I just looked at him and told him that he sucked, good thing he agreed. Just then my dad called and said that they needed me home because Reagan's stitches on her cheek had come undone and they needed to go back up to POH. They needed someone to watch Jenaye. So we decided that I would go and rent "Pitch Black" (since he hadn't seen it) but it was out so I got "50 first dates," and he would come over after working out. (Oh yeah a sweaty man, how sexy! hehe)
So I had my cell phone waiting for him to call me around 10 when the place closed, and it was taking long enough that I was getting kind of pissed off, you know, thinking that he wasn't going to call. Well he did call, which was extremely good for him, but it was around 10:45. Then he had to eat so he called me back around 11:30. He started looking for a better way to get to my house from his, he lives in Holly. He didn't want to take 75 to Baldwin, but couldn't. So then I told him that if he didn't want to come that was fine, but I did it in a way that he would know I was kind of upset. Then he was like "I do wanna come but it is soooo far." Then I was like "Ok fine do what ever you wanna do, I don't care" (though I did), and he responded with the "So you're gonna be like that, huh?" I told him yeah.
Then to get himself out of trouble he asked if we could do it tonight. I gave in. I couldn't help it he sounded so cute. However, I noticed that guys can't help but play video-games when on the phone. It was fun listening to him mess up. On the other hand, his game made us get into a debate which animal was better: turtles, rabbits and chickens. Why the conversation I don't know but it was funny. We talked until 1:30 in the morning, just about a bunch of different things. It was kind of nice.
I found out that he really is uncomfortable with me being Shawna's daughter. I just hope that he doesn't let that interfere too much. I really don't want him avoiding a relationship because of that. At least I don't have to worry about him pushing me aside because I won't sleep with him. I just didn't expect that there would be difficulties because of my mom. I really don't think he will let it effect him too much (so I hope). Oh well. I'm just happy that I get to see him tonight.
Tomorrow is Kati C's open house and I am so stoked. I went and spent almost $50 on her gift so I hope she likes it. Yeah I don't plan on doing that much more. I think I did that because I know that since she is moving into her own apartment in another state, she needs it. She has been the best person to have in my life right now. I can tell her anything and not fear that everyone else will know. Well her and Dani. I've already told Dani that we are going out for her birthday and I told Tony that there will be other guys where I take her and that she will have to interact with them, but it will all be ok. I also told him that if he doesn't like it then too bad. Well I better go.
