Haven't done one in a long time:
You know how sometimes people on your friend's list post about stuff going on in their life, and all of a sudden you think "Wait a minute? Since when are they working THERE? Since when are they dating HIM/HER? since when???" And then you wonder how you could have missed all that seemingly pretty standard information, but somehow you feel too ashamed to ask for clarification because it seems like info you *should* already know? It happens to all of us sometimes.
Please copy mine below, erase my answers putting yours in their place then post it in your journal! Please elaborate on the questions that would benefit from elaboration! One-Word-Answers seldom help anyone out :)
1. First Name: Michelle. Parents couldn't decide on a name and yanked this out of a baby book. Nicknames have never stuck either.
2. Age: 32. I only get annoyed when I'm at the doctor's office and they say, "We recommend to our patients OVER 30..."
3. Location: Houston, TX formerly of Philadelphia PA so officially I'm still not considered a Texan.
4. Occupation: Division Order Landman. Basically, I maintain the assets of the company being mineral rights. I make sure the right people get paid, and that record title of ownership is as clean as possible. Strictly domestic as the US is the only country where minerals can and are owned by individuals and not the government. I've seen enough family drama to write several Lifetime Movie Network films...
5. Partner?: Married to JP. We met about 4 years ago and we've been married of a little over a year and a half. He's Scottish, originally from Edinburgh. He's 9 years older but most days it's like living with a 12 year old (I mean that in a good way).
6. Kids: None yet... =(
7. Brothers/Sisters: I have an older sister who moved to Manitowoc, WI. A beautiful little town. She's married to her college sweetheart who used to be one of my drinking buddies in college. I'm lucky that my bro-in-law is also a good friend as so many people hardly know their siblings spouses.
8. Pets: Smudge would not approve of being called a pet. the house is HERS and we are allowed to live there. She has to right to be indifferent when we are around and throw a hissy fit worthy of any two year old if you leave her. Yes, Smudge is a cat. Keiko is our sweet ball of fur. My sister found her under her back porch and I took her in. She's not the brightest bulb but she's a sweet sweet girl if not neurotic because of the being abandoned thing and being a tortie (crazy even by cat standards but not Siamese crazy)

10. School: Fightin' Texas Aggie Class of 1997 WHOOOOOOP... yeah if you didn't go there that will just sound odd. Graduated with a BA in Anthropology... just as academia was shutting down such departments. Lucky me.
11. Parents: Jeff & Olga, live here in Houston. Which is mostly good. I get along really well with my family. Too the point where in college most people were surprised how much we joke around.
12. Who are some of your closest friends?: My Mom, Olga, JP, my sister, Theresa... I'm not one to let people in easily. Been burned too many times by people outside my family. So yeah socially awkward to say the least. I'm easy going though I just keep my "friends" separate. I have those I'll go to a BBQ with and then those that I'll shop with or hang out. I'm just to introverted to deal with more. besides I've have been told that I'm "too good" or "too nice" and evidently that makes some people uncomfortable. I chalk that up to them not really believing I don't have ulterior motives.
