i just picked up some pretty sweet arthropods to show my kids tomorrow. gots me some hissing roaches, a black widow, and a tarantula. the tarantula is totally PMSing though, she keeps running away from my gigantic hand; i mean, seriously.
so we've been cloning this glowing gene from one bacteria to another for the passed 4 weeks in lab. we go in on tuesday only to find out that we did not get any clones with said gene. matter of fact only one group in the entire class did. then we find out that was the first group to ever get a success since out teacher has been teaching; and she's a pretty old hippie. i know we are supposed to be learning the procedures, but if no one has ever gotten it until now i think they should modify the syllabus and give us a better experiment. this bacteria smells anyway.
tuffy got into some gasoline. dont know how. now my room smells all AMPM like. he's been licking it alot but seems fine. just getting more hardy for the bird massacre of '05. you heard me satan...a massacre.
