...Rocks!
I'm living in Boston, in a little neighborhood between Mass General and the Common. Most of the action lies along Charles St., but all-in-all, it's a sweet place to live. Things I'm loving about Beacon Hill:
It's busy all the time, but not with the type that need to *be seen* in the Back Bay.
Character.
Brick sidewalks.
Brick streets, for that matter.
Gas-light street lights. No shit.
The meeting house bells.
Garbage collection *three* times a week!
Vines are part of the facade.
You can tell who lives here because they answer you when you say Hi.
There is a Starbucks for everyone, and a special, hidden one if you know it's there.
People have good taste in cars.
People have good taste, period.
At dinner, people are less concerned with your outfit, and more concerned with you.
One-way streets don't apply to fire trucks.
And my most favorite-ist thing about the Hill is...
Dogs are *definitely* part of the family.
