all i want for christmas is you
monday i went and got measured for my brides made dress for melissa's wedding. i still cant believe shes getting married. i've known her since jr high and its like...i can remember all those times when we'd just drive somewhere. she would come over to my house just about every day during the summer and we'd chill. go to shows...like underground shows, go to church and see oldar LOL...she'd have her seat belt tan, id have...my obsession for the drummer of beauty to ashes LOL...oh dear. i was her moms daughter and she was my moms daughter...we'd go swimming, visit danielle...crazy yeck, drive in her moms mercadies that had no air and leather seats so when we got out we'd have sweat marks on our backs, she would always be trying to change the cd while she was driving...yes the ghetto cd player that you plug into the tape player...oh that made for some interesting driving on her plart...ahh the good old days...not a care in the world. i will never forget those times melissa, you have been such a great friend to me all these years. i love you like a sister. :) im SO happy for you!
well this week has kinda been a drag...its been nice cuz i've gotten to relax and just lounge around the house and then just have to go to work at 3. but i've gotten so used to being busy. well the busy-ness will start back up tomorrow. today i have to work a little bit on an outline for my english final. we have to write on "what i have learned this semester"...lame. and then around 11 or so mom and i are leaving to go visit my 3rd grade teacher...where did that come from?! LOL i dunno...but i loved my 3rd grade teacher so im really excited to see if she'll remember me. haha...then theres work. tomorrow i have to prepare all my last minute stuff for my final which is at 1:30 and then after that i dont have work so thats really nice but at 8 i have another concert and then julia and i are hanging out and doing something cute for the boys. then saturday rolls around and i have to work and then have a concert at 2 and then rudy wants to hang out and then i have another concert at 8. sunday is chuch and then my last concert which i have like lots of people going to at 2. THEN....im gunna prolly/hopefully hang out with rudy again and then i have my 'click-mas' dinner with my old friends from high school at 7. few. fun stuff tho.
last night i got to see rudy after work. he had his last final. did i already say that he was officially accepted into the fire academy?! yea he was. im really proud of him! so anyhoo...we just chilled at his house and watched a movie until he had to leave for work at 9...hey at least i got to see him. i hadnt seen him since...sunday. yup. those recently have been the days i've been seeing him: wednesdays and sundays. hopefully we'll see each other more during christmas break before he has to leave for the academy...well hes not leaving i just really wont see him for 6 months while hes in the academy. yea, its gunna be hard. pray for us.
