whee, traveling!
am in Chicago for the week visiting family and such. Tomorrow we're going down to the Taste of Chicago, and Sunday to the Bristol Renaissance Faire. My mom's never been to a renfest before, so this should be amusing.
Weather is gorgeous, if a little cool, and considering the last time I was in Chicago during the summer was four years ago, it's odd seeing everything so green ("Everything's so fucking green!" -Death at a Funeral).
Got plenty of homework to do, too, so it's not all fun and games.
Have crazy fun. Go see Wall-E. Read Stephanie Meyer's books so I can obsessively critique them with other people.
Also, huh, Alan Tudyk grew up in Plano, TX. He needs to visit his home state more, specifically the Houston Browncoats, dammit.
