Cheney vs. Edwards: VP Debate
Did anyone see the debate last night? I watched it from about 9:00 till the end. John Edwards (VP candidate for Kerry) was facing off against Dick Cheney (our current VP). Edwards was doing quite well, covering all the issues and joining my side (hah). Cheney, on the other hand, kept saying "uh" and accidently covering his clip-on microphone. Towards the end, though, they were asked to show differences from their opponent without saying the President's or Kerry's names. Cheney did fine on that part, but Edwards spoke of Kerry twice, laughingly saying "Oops, i broke the rules" each time he did. Other than that, though, i believe Edwards may have won that debate.
The next Presidential debate is Friday, same time as the last one. Like 8 - 10 or something like that. I doubt anyone but me will watch it. I have no choice, i'll be at my mom's.
Oh, and i'm grounded. Maybe till Christmas. Stupid Mr. Echols sent a progress report home that HAD to be signed. It was a 71 D, because i didn't do alot of my homework. If it were tests, maybe my dad would've let me off. I know my mom would have. She just would've made me do more homework, and if i had a D on my report card, she'd ground me.
