Need I say more??
The show was amazing. Well, at least the after the jackass, [ a.k.a laptop boy ] got off the stage. He was called "The End". Which is truely rather fitting in my humble opinion. The only thing there was to look forward to with him, was the end of his set.
Then it was Melt Banana. Two words......Fuckin' badass!! They jammed out. It was awesome. It was nice that the crowd was really respectful, too. I was surprised that no one shouted any ignorant racial slurs. The guitarist was really good.
Then it was the guys. Trevor had a nice little sign on his amp that said Foghat fucking rules. Half way through the set, he moved it to Buzz's cab. Nerd.
Dave had some amazing effects going on. He was at the top of his game.
Patton was perfect as per usual. The entire band's timing is insane. For as offtime as the riffs are, they are definitely excellent musicians. I throughly enjoyed myself.
The only downfall, was just a few brief minutes, of this fucking bastard pushing up against me. Which was in the direction of the stage. He was just upgainst me non-stop. It was totally unnecessary. I told him to quick fucking pushing me. That he had plenty of room. He then mumbled something about only pushing when he was pushed, and 'his spot'. Fuck you old man!!! Get the hell outta the fuckin' way.
APC is a week from today. I am excited for that, too.
I put the dreadies back in, last Thursday for the show. However, I subbed the platinum for strawberry blonde. I think it is more subtle. I used fewer dreads, to speed up the time, and to minimize the bulkiness. I think they turned out well, after 5 hours of braiding.
The next time around, I plan to just dread the loose end, making them double-ended. I want to stop the half dreads, half braids look.
