Good times in Cleveland.......

Took Ray to see The Dresden Dolls, at the House of Blues. Was my 1st time at that club. It is very nice. The show was definitely amazing!!! I saw them in Columbus on the 9th, as well, and their set wasn't as long obviously[they were not headlining]. That was just a little taste, of what was instore for this past evening. I enjoyed both shows, but tonight was the best!

I waited in line at the Columbus show to make sure they would be signing after tonight's show, as well. Amanda told me they always do, after every show they play. So, I told her I was bringing my 5 1/2 yr old little girl, as she absolutely loves them. That way she would have the chance to meet them. She got all giddy, and immediately interrupted Brian talking to another fan, to tell him about Ray. They both said how cool it was of me to be taking her, and to bring back the poster I bought so they could sign it for her in person.

So, right after entering the venue this evening, I ended up passing Brian on the stairs, and didnt even see him carrying equipment. I then hear, "Hey, you made it, and you brought your little girl!" Turned around, to see him with the biggest smile on his face. I said, of course, she wasn't gonna miss your show. He was thrilled to pieces, and came right back, to greet her properly. Asked if we had a good spot so she could see, and even went, and found her a stool to sit on. He signed her poster, and told us to be sure to hang around after the show, so Amanda could meet her, too. He is so sweet, and a very nice down to earth guy. Not to mention, a phenomenal drummer, and musician.

Amanda is just as sweet, and they asked her if she had a good time, posed, for pictures w/ her. I made sure to thank Brian plenty of times, for being so kind to Rayna. They are two very awesome people, and I feel very honored to have met them.

Pics of Ray with the dolls, after the show. Brian gave her his hat to wear in the pics. I didn't take any during their set, as the staff was making people take their cameras back to their cars, or kept it if it was disposable. I guess you are not allowed to have them in there. I know that some got away with it though.

This was Rayna's 1st concert. It will be something to talk about when she gets older. She looks a bit scared, but I think with all the people staring at her she wasnt sure what to think.

Can't wait for them to come back!!!
