so i have been on the road exactly two weeks today. i am now in indiana in the eastern time zone. three hours ahead of home so the sun starts going down at like 5. its a little weird as is this since i never post any thing. so lets recap the trip so far the first day my grandma falls down on the sidewalk right before we leave and then i forgot my purse so we had to turn around good thing we were only in north plains. we had three tires on the trailer blow-out in the first 500 miles and that set us a day behind on our trip. While driving through montana we drive right by a wildfire. we went to mount rushmore which i have now seen 10 times and it really is not interesting anymore. then we spent 4 days at my moms cousin's farm in alpha, minnesota, a thing us kids always look forward to on this cross-country trip every other summer. we then went into chicago and on the there we stopped at the worlds largest truck stop. this is a place that is crazy big, if you have ever been to a truck stop and i have been to my fair share of truck stops, you will understand it was 3 stories tall. it had 4 fast food restaraunts, a sit-down restaraunt, a convenient store, a one story girt shop, a dvd,cd,book,book-on-tape section and a section of truck accessories. in chicago we went to six flags, great america and i got a really cute henna tattoo there. now as i said we are in indiana. well there is the highlights of my trip so far, hope you guys are having fun at home and on all your trips.
