I have decided
I am going to completely SHOCK my entire being into speechless, unable-to-breathe awe by doing something that will probably kill me.
...I am going to watch the last three FMA episodes.
To remind myself of just how breathtakingly (LITERALLY) beautiful this anime is, and just WHY I grew to love it so much. ...Or kill myself. I'm not sure which.
...And to put my thoughts about omg hawt mansecks away. Srsly. It buggles me when people think I don't appreciate the series as an art form (OMG ARE YOU KIDDING ASJLKSFJ) just 'cause I think Hughes and Roy are OTP. xD;

...Well, I didn't die. But I think I've just now reconsidered how to LIVE. O.O Holy Jesus. God, I love the anime. To call into question everything you know and throw your goals away for the sake of a newly discovered, far greater purpose for your journey. Fun.
I'm no expert, but I'm fairly sure that is some SERIOUSLY EPIC SHIT RIGHT THERE. There is not enough room in one DVD to contain that much EPIC.
...And I'd forgotten how sad the OST songs were, or how heartwrenching the thing with Mustang was. And RUSSELL!!! <3
And Hughes is right. Nothing is ever completely negative. This is why I love him. I'm glad all his influence finally sunk into Roy. ...Then again, Roy's not NEARLY as pessimistic or emo as a lot of fans make him out to be. He's tormented, for sure, but he's got such amazing drive. And he's not self-loathing or lacking confidence. Sev's about the only writer of hardcore Royangst I don't want to SMACK. ...Well, okay, I DO wanna smack her, just in a VERY different way ;D *shot*
...And this is one more reason I hate the fucking movie. Roy is all EPIC and amazing and has this awesome view on everything and is at the very peak of his development and did I mention EPIC?
...Then he's suddenly emo about the past he's atoned for, holing himself up in the north, being emo, sulking around, and... shit. Is there a better way to describe it than "being emo"? I know Ed's gone and all that, but the impression we get from the end of the series suggests that Roy has a HOPEFUL look on things. Where did THIS come from, hmmm?
...He makes up for it with a lot of explosions and epicness later, but srsly. wtf, Roy-Boy. :<
...This new series had BETTER make him awesome. <3
...I'm going to stop before I decide to rant about Edward, too. >.< CoS is, IMO, the Breaking Dawn of Anime. >_
