Oh crap stupid laptop, now I have to rewrite the darn entry.
Anyways, I've been home in SF for Lunar New Year for 2-3 days now. Just spent some time catching up with family, etc. I ate dinner with my relatives last night. It was as usual, not as good as I would like. But I do miss it compared to no Chinese food at school. I know there are restaurants in Stockton, but I'm lazy to go find them.
I wished I had gone to Japantown & Stonestown to go buy a few things. But I can do that next long break I guess.
Next break is Spring Break in 3 weeks. I want to find a way back to SF through a few friends from ACM. I mean, they're going to SF anyways, I figure they don't mind if we tag along & bring some stuff. Though I don't really know if I want to go to the Game Developers Conference or not. Well, I'm going to try to discuss something with them anyways. We still have time to decide I think.
Well, I need to save up my new year's red envelope money. Buying things on YesAsia & maybe a few clothing sites! But yeah, I'm planning to buy stuff for an online friend for her high school grad/early birthday. Her b-day is in Nov. & her grad is in June. So I figure to buy her a larger gift to save shipping costs & it's better to receive a larger gift anyways.
Ah, my friend hasn't called back about when his friends are picking us all up from SF to go back to school. But I'm sure he'll call soon enough. I feel bad about making them have to pick us up too, but since they are coming back to SF to pick up my friend, we'd just tag along. They're so nice & I really do appreciate them taking the time to have drove us home & then take us back to school. Really, it's so great to have nice friends...or rather friends of friends.
Oh and my roomie, she's coming to my place as I type this. This is so that my friend's friend doesn't have to go roundabout to get everyone. It is more efficient & saves gas mileage.
So yeah, going back to school already. I have mixed feelings. But that's a given I guess. I'm anxious because I don't want to go, but also excited because I'll go back to school to resume my 'usual weekend life at school' It's not all that bad to be at school, but I'd rather be at home. I mean, it's troublesome to go back and forth. Well, 2 more years or so at UOP. I might go elsewhere for grad school...though cost efficience may be more if I continue onto grad school at UOP. Though I don't think they have a good grad school program for Computer Science. *shrugs* I don't really know. That's a story for another time.
Alrighties, Happy Lunar New Year of the Pig 2007!!! (new year's last for several days so even if this isn't on the first day, it still counts! lol)
