My roommates computer seemed really bogged down, and when I checked the processes that were running, I noticed two that were hogging both memory and CPU usage.

psdoc.exe and wavemp3.exe

Both would spike to 99% cpu usage and steadily climb in memory usage, and then alternate and they'd go back and forth taking turns being the hog.

A short google search doesn't show either to be a terrible virus, but I don't know what they are or where they came from.

Of course, he's giving me the standard.. "I haven't installed anything or done anything out of the ordinary!"

Funny how I can go months and months without picking up one of these buggers, but he seems to get them in days. :)

Any ideas what these are? Or how to rid them? I've thus far only attempted deleting the file names, and removing them from the registery. I think I might have gotten the wavemp3 one.. but the psdoc.exe keeps coming back immediately after I delete it.
