Do you know what book I'm talking about?
Help! I'm trying to remember a series of books I read when I was a kid.
They are about this kid who solves crimes. He carries around a sketch pad and he draws a picture of the scene of the crime, and then you study the picture and figure out who did it based on the clues in the picture. The only one I can remember involved a kid who fixed an election for class president or something.. and all the ballots had this very distinctive check mark with another line through it.. which was the way that this particular kid did his check marks.. so you could figure out that he was stuffing the ballot box.
After studying the picture.. you turned to the back of the book and read the answers in a mirror.. because they were written backwards so you couldn't cheat.
