You know what though, I barely even know what canon characterization is anymore, ha ha ha. I recently re-watched the movie and I was like, well, THIS Eames is totally different.

Sometimes I think I write so many AUs because that way I have more freedom with characterization -- and also it's a fall back if something is OOC, ha ha. I can claim it's because it's an ~AU! But yeah, I don't fully trust myself very much with stories that take place in canon.
