Getting back into the grove
Trialed 3 days on dirt last weekend. My consistent dog went 1/6 and her Q wasn't even her best run (that's how it always goes isn't it haha) It feels good to be trialing again and having a happy dog. I don't know what was up with Stormy our first couple runs here..maybe it was the dirt? Who knows. But she's back and running strong. We're entered one day at the Poodletopia UKI trial..will be fun! Also entered 2 days AKC the week before I leave back to WI for school.
I just love my Stormy-dog.
I really, really miss Mayhem. I would like to try running him again once I go back, if money permits. I don't think I will be able to trial both dogs regularly..but maybe here and there. It's tough too to decide which dog I want to be trialing more..
Silvia's foundation class starts in a couple of weeks and I'm a bit hopeful for it. I took Zae out at the trial this past weekend on the practice jump for a minute or so and was really happy with his excitement for it.
I finally have a car, but it's stick and I am still learning stick. So in a way I am mobile..but not really because I'm scared to drive anywhere haha. Especially with these Oregon hills! :o)
Just taking things day by day and trying not to fret too much. :)
