(no subject)
Okay I thought I'd share because I reaallly need a sympathetic ear right now.
I should be sitting in Luton on a training course today. However I am not.
I have lost my mobile phone and therefore have lost ALL the contact numbers on it. I have only two numbers memorized,that is my landline and my mother landline.
So I'm waiting for my lift, as we had agreed two weeks before hand and she doesn't show. I have tried to get in contact with her the last few days through work but shes run away home early. So Now I am almost an hour late and still at home with no way to contact her, wonderful...
I give up, go back indoors and hunt for my phone... still no phone. Instead I find the number for my manager and my bank branch (where I work) I call and call and call.... no answer, one phone is engaged and no-one is picking up the other line.
Then comes step two, I think "okay I'll just go into work..." *horrible sick feeling in stomach* "I'll explain whats happened..." *sickening stomach noise* "and they can re-book..." *runs to bathroom*
So everyone thinks I am on a course, except Georgie who hopefully is feeling all sorts of levels of guilt for not turning up to give me a lift, and now I am ill.
Very very very Unhappy Pyrefly right now.
Eurgh.
They'll just have to wait until I go in tomorrow and I'll have to explain it then.
