*waves*
Sorry I haven't updated or posted/replied to comments and e-mails in a while. Things have been pretty crazy this week. Last Monday was my last day of class (ever o_o) and ever since then, cleaning the house and grad practices and whatnot kept me quite busy. Also, my godfather/uncle, his wife, and another one of my uncles, all from my mom's side of the family, came in for Graduation, and if you know anything about Asian relatives, especially when there's several of them together... yeah. They demand a LOT of attention, and it's been pretty crazy.
Grad was fun though, and like I posted, dad got me a PSP. =O I never even asked for one, and I totally wasn't expecting to get anything that expensive, so it was a surprise. It was actually a bit ironic, too, because just the day before I'd been at Wal-Mart and saw their PSP display, and I was thinking, "You know, when the prices goes down a bit down the road, I might want to get one of those, mainly just to play around with the PS3/PSP functionality they announced at E3." And whaddya know, I get one the next day. o_o
It also came with three decently entertaining games. The shitty part is that it doesn't have a case or a memory stick, which is why I was hoping to go to Fry's today to take advantage of any good Memorial Day deals. Unfortunately, there's T-storms out the wazoo right now, and the entire stretch of the freeway that Fry's is by is flooded, so we're stuck at home for at least another hour or so.
We held a grad party with my & mom's friends yesterday, and I got $325 in cash and checks, plus $70 in gift cards. I'm planning on depositing all that and using my $150 paycheck for the PSP case, memory stick, and a couple of games. I'm thinking of buying Me and My Katamari (I didn't yet have the PS2 version of any of the Katamari games and had been thinking about it so this is quite convenient) and The Sims 2. That should keep me decently entertained for a while, unless I see an even better game at Fry's.
Probably gonna use my next paycheck to pre-order Crisis Core. And I'm hoping and praying they do come out with a U.S. release of that remake of Suiko I&II for PSP. Because that would be amazing. Definitely would save me spending $100+ on Suiko2 on eBay, which, sadly, I'd actually been considering.
AJDFH;JDFSAK this whole having-a-PSP business is really kind of dangerous, though, because now I have another nifty gadget to spend money on accessories and applications for. -_________-
Aaaanyway, it's breakfast time, so I'll be off. It'll probably be another couple of days before I have a chance to catch up on everything. Tomorrow night's the first night since Friday that I'm not invited to a grad party, and the relatives aren't leaving 'til Thursday. So it's gonna be crazy for another couple of days.
