This morning, I got to sleep in a little bit again because I didn't have 15-462 at 10:30am like I normally do. Today was the final exam for those who don't want to take it on the 16th, and I'm taking it on the 16th, so I didn't have to go. Instead, I slept until 10 and then studied for my in-class final exam for Design History. It's a class I haven't paid attention in pretty much all semester. I do show up and try to listen to what's being said, but I'm generally always doing work for other classes or just playing Spider Solitaire. I've done fine in the class so far because all our other grades came from papers, for which paying attention in class wasn't really necessary, and so I'd been a bit worried about this exam. But I did seriously study for it last night and this morning, and when it came time for the test, I'm pretty sure I rocked it. It was one of those exams where you get to pick the (essay and short answer) questions you want to answer, but I actually could've answered all of them if I had to. It was a really good feeling, and I'd be surprised if I didn't get an A.
Also, that means I'm finally 100% done with a class. Once I finish my Japanese term paper, I'll be 100% done with two classes. The others won't be done for a few days... Web Design is due Monday, Type is due Thursday and my Graphics exam isn't until the 16th.
♥ Austin came and brought me oreos during Senate... and lastly, my 9:30pm meeting was canceled, which was great because Senate ran really late today.
On a bad note, tonight was our last Senate meeting of the semester, which was important because we do our mid-term chair elections. So, this was supposed to be the day where I officially pass the baton over to the person taking over for me. Unfortunately, we also had a lot of other business, so we did not even get to start elections until 7:30pm (the meeting started at 5), and then we only got through 3 out of 8 of them before we lost quorum and had to postpone the elections until the beginning of next term. Which is bad because it really sets us back in our business, and it means I'm not officially done being Communications Chair yet. GRAH!
