Snakes on a ...Campus?!

Jun 20, 2007 09:55

So this morning I decided to check my school email account to check for important items and basically just clear it out. While scanning the subject lines I see "Timely Notification" which usually means there was a robbery, or stalker, or some other incident on campus. My interest in peak, since I'm always curious as to "safety" of the area i have to walk around in at night. So I open up the email and I se this this:

"Today at 4:00pm Moravian police responded to South Campus to look for a large snake which lunged out of the grass and bit a young girl in the foot. The Hospital stated the snake is not poisonous. This snake was seen at the rear of Foy Hall / Day House area. The description of the snake is 4’’+ round and about 4 to 5 ft long. Color is Black and Gold. Be careful when walking and if this snake is seen notify Campus Police."

Now I have to say this one is a first...Not just any snake but a 4 to 5 foot snake, roaming around campus. All we need now is Prof. Samuel L. and we're set.
